A Week of Gratitude and Patriotism in Branson
Next week, Branson will once again have the opportunity to say "thank you" to the men and women who serv
National Law Enforcement Week will be held June 13-21 in Branson, bringing active and retired law enforcement officers and their families from across the country to the Ozarks. The annual event honors the sacrifices and dedication of those who have chosen a career of public service and public safety. Throughout the week, special events, activities, and recognition programs will take place throughout the community.
At Grand Country Music Hall, we are proud to participate by offering complimentary admission to our shows for law enforcement officers during the week as a small token of appreciation for their service. We invite our guests to join us in welcoming these heroes and their families to Branson.
The week will conclude with one of the most patriotic days in Branson history.
On Sunday, June 14, Branson will celebrate Flag Day with a community-wide effort to break a Guinness World Record for the world's largest American flag mosaic. The attempt will take place atop the Branson Convention Center parking facility beginning at 9:00 a.m. as part of Branson's America 250 celebration. Organizers hope to create a massive display of thousands of American flags as a tribute to our nation's upcoming 250th birthday.
Later that afternoon, the celebration continues with the Flag Day Parade through Historic Downtown Branson beginning at 4:00 p.m. The parade will feature patriotic floats, marching bands, community organizations, veterans groups, and local businesses coming together to celebrate the American spirit. Downtown Branson will be filled with red, white, and blue as residents and visitors gather for this special occasion.
Branson has long been known as one of America's most patriotic destinations, and this weekend provides two wonderful opportunities to honor those who serve our nation and to celebrate the flag that unites us all.
We hope you'll join us as we welcome law enforcement families to Branson and take part in a memorable Flag Day celebration.
